A huge congratulations to Dunstan for completing the London to Brighton Bike Ride 2019

Account Executive, Dunstan Harris from Curtis Packaging, along with his father recently rode the 54 mile London to Brighton Bike Ride on the 16th of June 2019 in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Their bike ride started at 6:30 AM, travelling 15 miles across London from Muswell Hill to Clapham to the start line, aiming to set off at 7:30 AM.

After getting lost, picking up other lost riders and both managing to get punctures before the start line, they managed to eventually set off around 9 AM to start the journey to Brighton.  After many hours cycling, along with plenty of refreshment and snack breaks, they both managed to ‘Beat The Beacon’ cycling up the much-feared Ditchling Beacon.

With a huge amount of support from the crowds, cheered on, they reached the top where then it was a smooth freewheeling last leg all the way into Brighton.

The multiple punctures along the way and torrential rain did not deter the duo where they crossed the line together close to 4:30 PM.   Dunstan and his father had hit a 130% of their fundraising target,  managing to raise over £715 for a very great cause.

A massive congratulations and well done from all the team at Curtis.

Next Year Dunstan?
