Packaging Innovations Overview – London 2017

Last week saw Packaging Innovations reach the end of their 12th consecutive year. Curtis has seized the opportunity to exhibit at both the London and Birmingham shows since they started back in 2005. With over 4,300 visitors over both days at the London Olympia show this year, (its busiest yet!) the continued popularity proves how successful Packaging innovations is, and the exposure it can offer business’.

Over the two-day event, we engaged with many new contacts and have already started working on some exciting new projects. It was also great to see so many of our existing customers throughout the show and have the chance to catch up with them. We had some incredibly positive feedback from visitors about our stand, saying that it was “engaging and eye-catching with some great innovative packs”

One of our signature packs is our ‘Finishing Touches’ sample cards. This is our perfect pocket-sized tool that gives our clients an idea of how their finished carton can look and feel. We always get tremendous feedback on these, and if you didn’t manage to get your hands on your own pack, please call our customer service team, and we will send one to you.

We always like to have a treat for visitors  & it’s great that customers remember this & visit our stand to see what we have at each show. This year these were our Halloween packs filled with chocolates. These demonstrate a number of finishes which Curtis can apply to printed cartons that interact with our senses. These have proved so popular this year that we have been contacted by visitors asking for more to share with their colleagues.

Colour Quiz Competition

One of the eye-catching features of our stand was our colour quiz. With 122 people entered, 18 people managed to guess all six colours correctly. These 18 will be put into a draw, and the winners of this will be notified by the end of the September and will win a bottle of Champagne! We would like to thank all the people who took part and well done to everyone who answered the Pantone colours correctly.

If you have printed packaging requirements or to find out how our Curtis can help your brand, contact Steve or Sasha to find out more information.
